The popularity of cruises is at an all time high and more people are trying them than every before. They have always had a bit of a reputation as being mainly for the elderly or the wealthy, but this has changed as the variety of cruise types and prices has increased. If you’ve not been on a cruise before, here are some items that will likely come in useful.

Even so, lots of people still feel the effects of the sea in rough weather when the boat is moving about the most. If you dont want to spend your trip studying the bottom of the toilet, take some good sickness tablets.
Spending Money. Although a lot of luxury cruises say they are all inclusive, this does not mean they cover all costs and you’ll often find there are small things you will need some cash for. Maybe you’ll forget to take socks with you on your cruise, or you’ll lose your hair brush, which will mean you’ll need money to buy a new one.
Take a Book. There will surely be lots to keep you busy on the cruise ship, not to mention at your destination stops. However, youll be amazed just how much youll appreciate taking a good book that you can read in your downtime. When youre active all day you need to rest at some point.
Smart Clothes. Even cheaper cruises expect you to look semi-smart on certain occasions. This might be at some of the shows or potentially when you are eating in the main dining room. A number of five star cruises even ask for smart clothes to worn at all times
Walking Shoes. Given the size of modern cruise ships, you could find that you’ll cover a great deal of distance over a day of wondering. It’s when you get off the ship though that you will really appreciate a good pair on your feet and you’ll cover huge distances when your sightseeing without even realising it. It’s something that people often forget to bring and regret it almost straight away.
