Many of the most popular Caribbean cruise lines offer specials on their most popular cruises at different points during the year. When checking into taking a cruise, it is always important to do some searching to see if there are special offers on any of the cruise lines, such as Royal Caribbean cruises. Royal Caribbean cruise specials are some of the best on the market, but even with a special, it is always wise to see if the air/sea package being offered can be beat by buying parts of it another way.
For instance, sometimes there are cheaper airline tickets that can be purchased separate from the Royal Caribbean cruise special, or a customer might have frequent flyer miles saved up so that the airline part of the trip can be free. In addition, the person might be able to find better deals on hotels than is included in the special, so that could save some extra money as well.
The downside to buying things separate from the Royal Caribbean cruise special is that if something goes wrong with one part of the trip, the cruise line isn’t necessarily able to do something about it. For instance, it is possible that the airline flight might be delayed for some reason. If the airline ticket is included in the Royal Caribbean cruise special, then it is likely that the ship could be delayed for a time so that the passenger is able to catch it while it is still at the first port. If they cannot, then the cruise line will arrange for the passenger’s travel and hotel arrangements in their way to catch the ship at the next port. When the passenger gets his own airline tickets and it is delayed, then it is up to him to find his own means of transportation to the next port to catch the ship, which can be quite costly.
Special Deals
There are often Royal Caribbean cruise specials run several months prior to the Christmas season, since that is the most popular time of year for cruises. Depending on the type and popularity of a particular cruise, it is usually possible to find a seven night cruise in the Western Caribbean for around five hundred dollars per person. If the customer is willing to cut down on the number of nights on the cruise, there are often four night Bahamas holiday cruises that can be found for around three hundred and fifty dollars per person. Since Eastern Caribbean cruises are the more popular cruises, seven night cruises, even on special are normally close to seven hundred dollars per person.
