Thames Cruises can be a great idea for some events- a poker night, weddings, clay pigeon shootng, but also some stranger events that you may not have thought of -heres afew that have been seen going down the Thames recently.
- The sushi making cruise -Maybe not as strange, seeing as sushi is raw fish. The sessions give guests the oppotunity to learn from an expert chef the art of sushi making and get to compare and eat their sushi. Feel contended in the knowledge that if your sushi isnt quite up to scratch, it can go overboard back to where it belongs.
- Dacning lessons from the stars- Taught by Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite of the tv show ‘Strictly come dancing’, guests are taught a variety of different dancing styles, from the salsa to the cha cha to the rumba, waltz and the tango. The music alternates between djs and a live band, so bring both your sea legs and blue suede shoes.
- The chocolate cruise -with a choice between a team building exercise or a tasting event. The team building section of the packages gives you the chance to have ago at being a chocolate mogul for the day, creating and packaging your own brand of chocolate for mass consumption. The tasting session is there for those who have a sweet tooth and want to overindulge in many varieties of chocolate.
- DJ-ing lessons -learn how to man the dj decks while the ships crew man the masts. With upto four different sessions from dj face offs to producing your own dj show, the events last 3-6 hours and can hold 50-1000 people.
- Pampering cruise – The stresses and strains of life need to be left behind- so do so at sea and be pampered at the same time. The session begins with a glass of champagne and is followed up by a choice or pedicures, maincures and massages.A great idea from just treating you and your friends, to hen and birthday parties.
